About Me

My name is Eduardo Velloso and I am a Computer Engineer who is interested in Ubiquitous Computing, Context Awareness, Activity Recognition, Wearable Computing, Tangible Interaction and Embedded Systems.

In February, 2011, I joined Lancaster University‘s School of Computing and Communications as a Research Associate, where I began my PhD in September, 2011. There, I work under Prof. Hans Gellersen’s supervision and I am a member of the Embedded Interactive Systems (EIS) research group. I am also an external member of the Groupware@LES research group at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio).

I received my Bachelor in Computer Engineering with a minor in Entrepreneurship in December, 2010 from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro.
